Journey’s Narrow Door is about learning to give up our self-will allowing Jesus to live His life through us.

Journey’s Narrow Door is about learning to love GOD with all our heart; with all our soul; with all our strength; and with all our mind.  Loving GOD with everything we are, our whole existence.  As we surrender ourselves to Jesus He then loves others through us.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27 (ESV)

Journey’s Narrow Door is about learning to give our entire being to Jesus in sweet surrender to His will and wishes as He has called us to deny our self and follow Him.  We are to give up our self-centered existence denying our self-will and becoming Christ-centered. We are to take on His-will for our lives and allow Him to live through us and accomplish His plan and purpose for our life.

“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”   Mark 8:34 (ESV)

As we are learning to surrender all we are to our LORD Master, Jesus, we are learning to trust Him, depend on Him, and love Him more and more.  We are learning to hold on to our GOD and never look back. We are learning to forever look and reach up to the very source of Life both here on earth and in eternity. We are learning to worship our LORD Master giving Him all the glory, honor and praise He alone deserves.

Journey’s Narrow Door is about crawling up on the altar of our GOD and being willingly willing to present ourselves as a living sacrifice to Him.

“… by the mercies of God…present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”  Romans 12:1 (ESV)

Now, we do have a tendency to roll/jump off the altar, but Jesus meets us where we are and works with us to become willingly willing to climb back up there with more of our self-life in tow.  Jesus teaches us, changes our heart and we come to know the sweetness of surrender and the freedom we have in our LORD Master.

He knows we can’t do this in our own strength, that’s why He is willing to come and help us. What seems impossible for us is in no way impossible for our GOD!.  “For nothing will be impossible with GOD.”    Luke 1:37

The choice is ours.  Jesus never forces us to do anything.  We have the choice to be obedient to Him.  If we cry out to Him, He will and work in us so that we can choose to walk up to and through that oh so Narrow Door of surrender to Him.  He will come. He will help us each time we call out to Him.

Journey’s Narrow Door is about learning to give our life in totality to Jesus as our LORD Master; making Him our source for ALL in our lives; living as an empty container for Him to fill and use as He wishes.  Our life’s purpose becomes “ HIS Will; not mine”.

Journey’s Narrow Door’s sole purpose is to point you to the only source of life, hope and help we have, Christ Jesus; GOD; GOD’s only begotten Son.

I am on the journey of absolute surrender just as you are.  In no way do I claim to be an expert, wise or in any other way something more than I am; I am nothing but by the Grace of my GOD and the precious blood of my Savior and LORD Master, Jesus Christ.

Believe me; the only thing I am an expert on is rolling off that altar!  But, just as He has shown Himself faithful and trustworthy to me, He will do the same for you.  Believe in Him. Trust in Him. Give Him whatever you got now, no matter how small. Put yourself on that altar and give it all to Him.  Say so long to your self-life and YES to Christ’s life lived out in you moment by moment.  You won’t be sorry you stepped through the narrow door into the abundant and eternal life our Maker, our Father, our Lord, our King has created for you in the Life of our LORD Master Jesus Christ.
