Heaven is a gift from GOD if you choose to accept the terms in which it has been given. Are you willing to accept GOD’s terms? If you are, woo hoo, the angels are rejoicing in Heaven!!
Believe. Believe Jesus is it. No matter what others tell you in the world, Jesus is the only one that can save you. He is the only way to get to Heaven. He is the only one that can ever make a difference in your life and He is the only one that really truly loves you beyond your wildest dreams. True unconditional love unlike anything any human can ever give. His love satisfies to the deepest depths of our painful lives and then gives more! Believe
Come. Come before GOD in Faith not Fear. Fear keeps us distracted from the truth and imprisoned in death. We must have courage to seek out the Truth even if it’s sincerely challenging GOD to prove He is real. GOD doesn’t play games, but if you really want to know if He is real and you ask Him to show you, be ready for the answer because He will show you. Come.
Talk. Talk to Jesus in your words. You don’t have to use special words or be perfect, just chat with Him. He knows you, but He wants to hear your side of the story. Don’t worry about where you are in life, just talk to Him. GOD sees everyone the same and He knows you are not perfect, no one is. That’s why GOD provided His gift for us. GOD knew we could not do it on our own. Don’t wait to try and get your life straighten out enough to be acceptable to Jesus. Don’t put that pressure on yourself, it is a lie from satan meant to distract you. He knows where you are now and He wants you to come just as you are, now. Just talk to Him. He is waiting. Talk.
Tell. Tell Him you know you are a sinner. Tell Him that you know that He gave His only Son, Jesus to pay the price for your sin. Tell Him that you believe Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead as the only payment for your sin. Tell Him you want to be His child and you don’t want to live for yourself any longer. Tell Him in your own words. Tell.
Ask. Ask GOD to forgive you. GOD tells us that we don’t have because we don’t ask, so ask Him! Don’t let your self-life run the show. (has it been good to you so far?) Self will always try to scare you away from asking GOD to forgive you because your self-life knows that things will be different from now on. In fact, your self-live has just received its eviction notice! If you want, ask GOD to forgive specific sins. Tell Him you don’t want to sin any longer and ask Him to help you overcome those sins. Ask Jesus to help you to turn away from your sin. He will do it! Ask.
Believe. Believe you are forgiven. No more is needed but to believe in Jesus and what He did for you, to confess your sin to Him and to ask Him to forgive you. He will. Believe it to be so. You may not feel different or look different on the outside, but in your heart you are a new creation. Jesus begins to work in you and begins to change your life. It may happen in an instant for some things or it may longer, but as you learn to walk with Him, He continues to change you a little at a time until He takes you to Heaven. Believe.
Thank. Thank GOD for His Son Jesus Christ. Thank Jesus for the work and payment He provided for you. Thank the Holy Spirit for working in your heart and opening your eyes to Jesus. Thank GOD for forgiving you. Thank GOD for the work He will complete in you . Thank GOD for making you His child and giving you Heaven. Thank.
Listen. Listen to GOD. He will talk to you. His Holy Spirit lives inside you now and speaks to you in ways you will come to understand. The Holy Spirit is your helper and comforter. He helps you learn GOD’s Word and remember it. He brings to mind the sin in your life and helps you confess it and be obedient to GOD’s will. Listen.
Obey. When the Holy Spirit brings something up that is sin in your life, jump on it right away. Don’t wait for another time or place to deal with the sin. Get rid of it! Holding on to it just creates misery. God’s timing is always perfect. He knows now is the time to deal with sin. Obey Him if He asks you to do something. Trust Him. GOD always provides the skill, abilities, resources, whatever is needed to do what He asked, He will provide. Trust Him! Obey.
Get. Get a Bible. Begin to read from it daily. Try starting out in the Gospel of Luke. If you need a Bible, let me know. I will get you one for free. GOD’s Word is unlike any other book you have ever read. It is living and active. It is Truth. It is Jesus. Get.
Continue. Continue to talk to GOD. GOD calls it prayer. GOD wants you to talk with Him all the time. Tell Him what’s on your mind. He wants to hear everything. He already knows, so you can’t hide it from Him, but again, He wants to hear your side of the story. You don’t have to recite certain words or canned prayers or speak in old English to pray to GOD. Just use your language and talk to Him. He is not too busy to hear you and well, not too busy to help you. Remember to Listen to Him also. Maybe even write it down. He gives us His directions, but if you are not listening, you will miss what He wants you to know. Continue.
Find. Find a church in your area that teaches through the Bible verse by verse. Not all churches are the same. Finding a church that teaches through the Bible verse by verse, not skipping any parts of the Bible or adding any more books or information to the Bible is very important. Find.
Found. You were once lost but now you have found Life forever and ever with the LORD Master! Priase GOD! Welcome to GOD’s family! I am so excited!
